Oral health promotion - for children. Superhero days
At Sunningdale Dental practice we like to educate children at an early age so that they will get in to good habits when they are young. It can be daunting at the best of times for a child to visit the dentist. We at the practice want to make it a fun and a pleasant experience for the children so they enjoy coming to the dentist. We organise 'Superhero days' where all the staff will dress up as Superheros and parents are invited to bring their children for a fun day at the dentist where they will have a check-up and oral health education in fun surroundings. We also provide free face painting as well as some healthy snacks whilst the children are at the practice. Usually we arrange this for a Saturday meaning that children do not have to take any time off from school and parents can bring their child in a more relaxed environment.
